Duke Magazine's mission is to facilitate and strengthen alumni engagement as a champion of the university's vibrant intellectual community. Our storytelling is in service of the curious minds of our alumni. The magazine is published five times a year by the Office of Alumni Affairs. The publisher is Sterly L. Wilder '83, associate vice president for Alumni Affairs.
Story ideas come from a great variety of sources, but mostly importantly from continuing interaction with alumni, university administrators, faculty members, and students; and the staff's general sense of the intellectual currents of the campus. Over the years, Duke Magazine has received numerous awards in recognition of its editorial quality.
